This is the story of a stray dog, a two-year old terrier mix named Sunny, held in a Houston shelter. One day before being euthanized, an animal trainer named William Berloni, selected Sunny to try out for the role of “Sandy” in the new production of Annie. Sunny has been successfully trained to begin performances on Oct. 3.
