Major League Baseball Hall of Famer George Brett is now going to bat for our canine friends. Specifically, the former Kansas City Royals star is participating in a campaign to educate people on the dangers of leaving animals in cars. Even on days where the outside temperature is in the 70′s, the inside temperature of the car can rise to dangerous levels even with a window cracked. Brett and his buddy, Charlie, are appearing in ads to raise awareness of this critical issue.
