For many veterans, PTSD symptoms are a debilitating part of their lives. And for an increasing number, service dogs have been a way to recover. One such veteran, Raymond Galmiche, reported being blown away by his service dog. Research is slow to report results, however, and it remains to be seen what studies will say scientifically about the benefits.
