Massachusetts Bans BSL, Strengthens Animal Protection Laws
The State of Massachusetts has passed into law Senate Bill 2192, otherwise known as An Act Further Regulating Animal Control. The law will create a fund that will help pay for free pet spaying and neutering as well as increase funding for animal shelters. The law will also enforce strict training for animal control officers as well as better administration of the different animal agencies in the State.
