Heroic man sacrifices his life to save a woman and her dog from drowning (UPDATED) ? DogHeirs
Frederick G Luman Jr, a Vietnam War veteran, aged 60, drowned on Friday, 3rd August, in an effort to save a woman and her dog. He was the owner of the boat in which the woman and the dog were riding. The woman jumped into Seneca River to save her dog which fell into the river. Frederick himself jumped into the river when he saw that both the woman and the dog were struggling to get free of water weeds. Though he was able to free both of them from the weeds, he succumbed to death.
